  4. Inequality in access to healthcare especially marginalized and minority groups
  5. Indiscriminate infections (world leaders and the average Joe)
  6. Poor countries with weak health systems and lack of basic hygiene facilities struggled to cope.
  7. Chaos and political decisions negatively impacted on the disease spread.
    Spanish flu infected 50% of the world’s population. Killed between 50-100 million people (2.5-5%) of the global population.
    Lessons to be learned! Spreading fake news hamper the efforts of public officials. Think before you post!
