1. Moves from person to person via droplets (sneezing and coughing) and close contact with an infected person.
  2. No longer considered airborne like TB, measles, shingles etc.(as previously thought)
  3. Best protection according to health officials include procedural/surgical masks, eye protection, full sleeved gown and gloves. N95 mask no longer required except for those providing aerosol general medical procedures (AGMP).
  4. AND of course good hand hygiene, avoiding crowds, sick people and other infections control protocols.
  5. Stay home if you don’t need to be out there .
